: The Global Burden of Disease (GBD) study is conducted under the guidelines of the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) and complies with the Declaration of Helsinki. The data utilized in this study were obtained from publicly available, de-identified datasets, which do not require individual participant consent. The IHME ensures all ethical considerations are addressed, and the use of de-identified health data is approved by their institutional review board.
