: This study, titled Comparison of Tracer Application Methods for Sentinel Lymph Node Detection in Open Surgery Patients with Endometrial Cancer, is a retrospective research project analyzing previously collected data to evaluate the effectiveness of different tracer application techniques for sentinel lymph node detection in women with endometrial cancer undergoing laparotomy. Additionally, potential risk factors for sentinel lymph node detection failure were assessed. The study was reviewed and approved by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) of University Hospital Královské Vinohrady, Prague, Czech Republic, under protocol number EK-VP-21-0-2023. Given the retrospective nature of the research, individual consent from participants was waived by the ethics committee due to the use of anonymized data and the absence of risk to subjects, particularly as some patients were deceased. All data used in this study were anonymized prior to analysis to ensure participant confidentiality and compliance with ethical guidelines, including the Declaration of Helsinki and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) standards enacted by the European Union.
