: The study was carried out in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki. Malignant ascites was collected from OC patients undergoing cytoreductive surgery at the University of New Mexico (UNM) Comprehensive Cancer Center. Informed consent was obtained from all participants included in the study. Ascites collection and patient-derived xenograft (PDX) models were established under a protocol approved by the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center Institutional Review Board (INST 1509). All animal studies, including the development of PDX models, were approved by the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (protocol#: 21-20144-HSC and 24-20153-HSC).
