: This study was approved by the Institutional Research Ethics Committee (CEP-HCPA) of the Hospital de ClĂnicas de Porto Alegre under CAAE number 25580319.9.0000.5327 and approval number 3.806.481, in accordance with the ethical standards of the institutional and national research committees and with the 1964 Helsinki Declaration and its later amendments.The requirement for informed consent was formally waived by the Ethics Committee, based on item IV.5.e of Resolution CNS 466/12, which allows waiver of consent in retrospective studies using previously collected biological materials, provided that participants are not exposed to risk and that all data are anonymized.All histological samples analyzed in this study were archival materials originally collected for diagnostic purposes, and all data were fully anonymized prior to analysis. However, for patients who remained under active clinical follow-up during data collection, written informed consent was obtained accordingly.
