Ethics approval and consent to participate
: All procedures performed in studies involving human participants were in accordance with the ethical standards of the institutional and/or national research committee and with the 1964 Helsinki declaration and its later amendments or comparable ethical standards. Ethics committee approval for ophthalmological examination and using the results of research and data analysis in patients with AAU was obtained from the Pomeranian Medical University Bioethics Committee, Poland (approval number KB-0012/112/14). The research adhered to the tenets of the Declaration of Helsinki.
