Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The consents to all participate were not necessary because it was a retrospective chart review without any intervention, or identifiable pictures or data from the patients. This retrospective study (waiver of inform consents) was approved by the Institutional Review Board of Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taiwan (IRB 202001456B0). Four patients who received genetic tests had previously signed consent forms for another prospective study on “Genetic study in hereditary retinal and optic nerve diseases, (IRB 201601569B0C601)”.
