: The study protocols were approved by the Auckland District Health Board Research Review committee, approval number A + 9628. This study was conducted in accordance with the tenets of the Declaration of Helsinki. The Auckland District Health Board Research Review committee waived the requirements for informed consent because of the retrospective nature of the study and use of anonymized retinal images and clinical data.
