: Approval to conduct the study was obtained from the Ethics Review Board, University of Cape Coast, Ghana (UCCIRB/CHAS/2017/55) and Cross River State, Health Research Ethics Committee, Ministry of Health in Nigeria (CRS/MH/HREC/020/Vol.VI/205). Approval was also obtained from the Ghanaian Optometry Association and Nigerian Optometric Association to use their databases for distribution.
