: Local ethics committee approval was not deemed necessary because of the retrospective observational design, patient anonymization, utilisation of a CE-marked device and routine surgery with no modification to the standard procedure and no added risk for the patient. The data collected were analysed in France and its retrospective collection was declared compliant with the national legislation (Déclaration de conformité au référentiel de méthodologie de référence MR-004) by the government body CNIL (Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés).
