: All animal experiments were approved by the ethical committee of Peking Union Medical College Hospital (No.XHDW-2022-100) and conducted in strict adherence to the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) Statement for the Use of Animals in Ophthalmic and Vision Research. After the experiments, all animals were euthanized by intravenous injection of pentobarbital sodium (100 mg/kg) via the marginal ear vein, resulting in rapid loss of consciousness and cardiac arrest.
