: Approval for this study was granted by the Health Research Ethics Committee of the University of Uyo, Teaching Hospital (Reference number: NHREC/24/06/22/UUTH). Every staff member who participated received a clear explanation of the study protocol and its benefits before giving their consent. Each participant provided written informed consent prior to joining the study. The research was guided by the ethical standards of the Declaration of Helsinki. Interviews took place in designated areas within the ophthalmology department, and all staff evaluations were handled with the utmost confidentiality.
