: This study was submitted and approved by the Research Ethics Committee of Hospital das Clínicas of Federal University of Goiás (CEP / HC / UFG), under the number of Protocol: 2,631,341, in compliance with resolution 466/2012 of the National Health Council (NHC).It was also approved by the Research and Studies Committee of the Rehabilitation and Recover Center Dr. Henrique Santillo (CRER), for access to the medical records of patients attending the outpatient clinic of children with microcephaly during the period proposed for the study, under the number of the certificate: 043938/2018. Completed “Term of Commitment” to use information from medical records in research.The research was developed using electronic medical records, therefore, it was not necessary to apply a “Free and Informed Consent Term”.
