Ethics approval and consent to participate

: The ethical clearance was obtained from the Institutional Review Board of Woldia University, College of Health Science. A support letter was also obtained from Woldia University, research directorate office to Waghimra zonal health department, Sekota town administration, and Sekota town health office. Then after, a subsequent contact was made with the town’s administration administrators, each kebele managers, zonal, and town health office chief directors. Written permission was got from the chairman of the own administrator, heads of the kebeles, zonal health department, and Sekota town health office. Written informed consent was obtained from all mothers who have preschool children and involved in the study after the purpose explained for them. Anonymity and confidentiality were maintained by allowing opposition and or discontinuation of the interview. The name and personal identification of respondents were omitted, because it was not compelled to the study. The positive for IP results were communicated for health extension workers and health center manager for anti-helminthiasis administration based on the type of parasite identified with the appropriate drug and dose.
