Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Ethical clearance was obtained from the Institutional Review Board (IRB) of Hawassa University, College of Medicine and Health Sciences. Supportive letter was provided from Sidama Zone Health Department and Aroresa district Health Office. The study participants were communicated about the aim of the research work and informed verbal consent for minors (below the age of 18 years) was obtained from their elders/parents which was approved by the ethics committee. We have taken only verbal consent from respondents since the study is conducted in a rural community and majority of the respondents did not attend formal education who are unable to read and write.
