: All procedures performed in studies involving human participants were in accordance with the ethical standards of the institutional and/or national research committee and with the 1964 Helsinki declaration and its later amendments or comparable ethical standards. This study was approved by Nishinomiya-Sunago Medical and Welfare Center for Children with Severe Motor and Intellectual Disabilitie ethics committee (Hyogo, Japan; approval no.: R1– E48). Before the start of the study, its content and methods were explained to the all participants’ legal guardians or caretakers, and their informed consent was obtained in writing. Participants who were capable of communicating also received an oral explanation, and only those who provided informed consent took part.
