: The Cantonal Ethics Committee (CCER) approved the study (CCER 2021–01045) and a written informed consent was obtained from all parents of children followed at our obesity clinic. For all the other children, we analyzed the data of those who the parents/guardians had signed the Hospital general research consent form. All procedures performed in studies involving human participants were in accordance with the ethical standards of the institutional and/or national research committee and with the 1964 Helsinki declaration and its later amendments or comparable ethical standards. This article does not contain any studies with animals performed by any of the authors.
