: Ethical approval was obtained from the Ethical Review Committee of NAUTH, Nnewi with number NAUTH/CS/66/VOL.9/2016/86. This was then used to get a study permit from the Anambra State Ministry of Education with number MOE/ESD/AD/17/T/11. The aim of the study was explained to the selected school heads and members of their Parent-Teacher Association (PTA). Informed consent was obtained from all subjects and/or their legal guardian(s). A signed or thumb printed consent form was obtained from parents/guardians and assent was obtained verbally from recruited children at the point of data collection. Confidentiality of recruited schools and participants was maintained at all times. All methods were performed in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations.
