: After explaining the purpose of the study, Informed consent was obtained from children’s mothers before collecting samples for analysis. Ethical approval of study protocol was granted by the Ethics and Research Committee of the University of Kisangani through the authorization letter CER/013/GEAK/2022, and we obtained permission to collect data in health facilities from the Provincial Health Authority, Division Provinciale de la Sante of Tshopo Province through the letter 701/DPS/TSHOPO/SEC/0359/2022. All procedures performed were carried out in accordance with the ethical standards laid down in the 1964 Declaration of Helsinki and the institutional ethics guidelines.
