: The study protocol was approved by the Ethics Committee of Babol University of Medical Sciences (IR.MUBABOL.REC.1401.132). The trial was registered in IRCT (IRCT20221220056872N1). In the study samples, we did not have mothers of premature infants younger than 16 years old, therefore, informed written consent was not obtained from the parents or legal guardians of the mothers of premature infants. The age of mothers of premature infants participating in the study is from 16 to 46 years old, and informed written consent was obtained from all mothers of premature infants before participating in the study. This study followed the Clinical Trials Flowchart guidelines for reporting randomized controlled trials.
