: Ethical approval was obtained from Research Ethical Committee of School of public health, College Medicine and Health Sciences, university of Gondar, with Ref No/ IPH/1505/2021. Hierarchically, all administrator bodies were communicated and permission was secured. Permission was requested from a measure of DHS program through their website ( ) by explaining the objective of the study. Then After, waiver of written informed consent was obtained from the International Review Board of Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS) program data archivists to download the dataset for this study. The datasets were not shared or not passed on to other bodies. Lastly, we confirm that the study was conducted in accordance with the declaration of Helsinki.
