: The surveys we analysed were conducted by UNICEF as part of their efforts to gather evidence on various aspects of children’s and maternal health. Before initiating these surveys, ethical approval was obtained from the relevant countries’ ethical approval boards, as well as UNICEF’s own board. The data, provided to us in a non-identifiable form, was shared in response to our expression of interest in conducting this research, which involved submitting a research proposal. Others interested in accessing this data can follow a similar procedure. Since we only received non-identifiable data, no further ethical approval was required.
