: The study was approved by the Swedish Ethical Review Authority (Sweden, no. 2019–02158) and adhered to the principles outlined in the Declaration of Helsinki [] as well as the ethical guidelines of the Swedish Research Council []. Written informed consent was obtained from all parents and assent was obtained from the children during their initial visit to the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) prior to participation. Both parents and children received verbal and written information about the study’s purpose, procedures, and their rights, including the right to withdraw at any time without any consequences for their care. Participation was voluntary, and the children were explicitly informed that they could withdraw at any time. Confidentiality was ensured by restricting access to study materials to authorized research team members only. All data were de-identified and securely stored in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) [].
