: Prior to commencing any form of data collection, the researcher secured ethical clearance from the University of the Witwatersrand’s Human Research Ethics Committee (Medical) (No. M240442). The study involved secondary analysis of de-identified data collected during a prior retrospective record review. The requirement for informed consent was formally waived by the same ethics committee, in accordance with the South African National Health Research Ethics Council (NHREC) Guidelines and Sect. 16 of the National Health Act (Act No. 61 of 2003), as well as the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
