: This paper uses data collected as part of the standard assessment procedure at the outpatient OCD-clinic in Helse Bergen, Norway, approved by the Data Protection Official on August 5, 2012. This treatment quality assurance strategy does not require full ethical review and approval according to national and institutional guidelines. This has been described by the Regional committees for medical and health research ethics in Norway (ExternalRef removed). Furthermore, quality assurance data does not require informed consent.
