Written informed assent is obtained from children; the caregiver provides written informed consent for their own participation and permission for the child to participate. The Institutional Review Boards of Duke Health (Protocol # Pro00081913) and the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) (Protocol # 598) have approved the trial.
