Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The TRAILS TRANS-ID study was approved by the Medical Ethical Committee of the University Medical Center Groningen, in accordance with the 1964 Declaration of Helsinki (reference no. 2017/203). All participants gave written informed consent before enrolment in TRAILS TRANS-ID. As all participants were above 18 years old at the time of recruitment for TRAILS TRANS-ID, parental informed consent was not obtained.
