Data are personal data and was anonymized and handled according to the General Data Protection Regulation. In Denmark and Greenland register data are available for research without the need to collect any form of consent from participants according to the Danish Data Protection Act §10 and the General Data Protection Regulation art. 6(1)(e) (Voigt and Von dem Bussche, 2017). The study is part of a Ph.D. project and was approved by two institutional boards in Greenland and in Denmark. In Greenland, the project has been approved by the Committee of Research Ethics in Greenland (KVUG 2018–16). In Denmark, the study is approved by the legal services of the University of Southern Denmark, notification number 11.266.
