: The Ethics Committee of the Faculty of Medicine at the Goethe University Frankfurt confirmed that no ethics vote was necessary. We received the information on February 13, 2023 that no vote of the Ethics Committee is necessary for anonymous surveys that do not provide any information about the respondents. The implementing institute Respondi AG carried out the collection and storage of personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016, “Europäische Datenschutz-Grundverordnung” (DSGVO) (European Data Protection Regulation). This included written consent to participate in this survey. The dataset that the authors analysed does not contain any personal data that would allow participants to be identified and is therefore not subject to the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) in Germany. The surveys were conducted by the external commercial survey company Respondi AG. This institute uses its pool of respondents who have agreed to participate in surveys for market research and social research as part of an opt-in procedure. We ourselves have no access to the respondents and received the anonymized data after the survey was completed. In accordance with national regulations, consent beyond this is not required for the survey. The requirements for such online surveys are laid down in the guidelines of the ADM Arbeitskreis Deutscher Markt- und Sozialforschungsinstitute) (ExternalRef removed). Accordingly, following the regulations and as usual in market research, no informed consent was obtained. However, participants agreed to the use of the data collected, also for scientific purposes. All methods of the present study were carried out in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations of the Declaration of Helsinki.
: It is not applicable to this study, as no identifiable data of the respondents are presented, but the data are only presented in an anonymous and aggregated form.
