: The study will be conducted following the Declaration of Helsinki and was approved by the ethics committee of the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (443_20 B). Moreover, the study is preregistered in the Open Science Framework (OSF; “EmpkinS D02”; ) and was retrospectively registered in the German Clinical Trials Register on November 25, 2024. Clinical Trial Number: DRKS00035577. Any modifications of the study protocol will be documented in the preregistration and amended for the ethics committee.
: Participants will provide written informed consent: (1) via Unipark for the screening and (2) before the initial diagnostic session for the rest of the study. In the case of study inclusion, each participant will receive a personal code. The password-protected list connecting the code with personal information will be stored separately from study data accessible by study staff only.
