: All regulatory requirements relating to data protection will be met. Subsequent to the completion and publication of all planned publications, the trials’ de-identified data, accompanied by a data dictionary, will be stored and made accessible via the Research Data Centre of the Leibniz Institute for Psychology.
: In line with DFG form 2.00–1/21, we will publish our project results for the purpose of scholarly communication in open access (directly in international, high-impact open access journals or open access platforms, or in addition to commercial publication they will be included in subject-specific or institutional electronic repositories). Results will be published in accordance with CONSORT statement for reporting of randomized controlled trials (sub-study 1) and JARS-Qual (sub-study 2). In addition, a workshop for psychotherapist’s training will be designed and given at psychotherapy training events in order to disseminate the treatment concept in the field. A senior citizen organization will be asked to summarize the findings in user-friendly language and ensure that the information is accessible to a public audience and the target population.
