Ethical approval was granted by the United States International University-Africa Institutional Review Board (Ref No: USIU-A/IERC/US264-2024). A research permit was obtained from the National Commission for Science, Technology and Innovation (License No: NACOSTI/P/24/40329). Random identification numbers were used to maintain confidentiality, and only relevant study data were collected and recorded. Informed written consent was obtained from each patient to participate in the study.
