: This study received ethical approval from the Research Ethics Committee CAIMED, Centro de Atención e Investigación Médica ( Center for Medical Care and Research ), Colombia, in March 2025, under the code (N° CEIC-01440-25). The CAIMED Research Ethics Committee operates in accordance with the country’s legal and ethical guidelines as established by Resolutions 008430 of 1993 and 002378 of 2008 of the Ministry of Social Protection of Colombia, as well as international guidelines: Nuremberg Code, Declaration of Helsinki (World Medical Association, 1964) and its subsequent revisions, Belmont Report, Universal Declaration on Bioethics and Human Rights (UNESCO, 2005), among other national and international regulations described in its statutes on biomedical research.
