: All research processes of this study adhered to the World Medical Association (WMA) Declaration of Helsinki. The CBT-f-DDD trial was granted ethical approval by the Health Research Authority (HRA) and the NHS Research Ethics Committee (REC) (IRAS ID: 314923; 22/LO/0318). An information sheet and consent form were provided to participants detailing issues relating to confidentiality, data use and storage, informed consent, and freedom to withdraw. Participants provided written consent before engaging in an eligibility assessment for formal recruitment into the trial.
: Written consent from participants, including additional verbal consent at the start of interviews, were gained and all agreed for their pseudo-anonymised data to be included in any future publications.
