Ethics approval and consent to participate: This study was approved by the Institutional Research Ethics Committee of the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-Sen University (II2023-003-01), and written informed consent was obtained from the legal guardians of all child participants in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki. Human MRI acquisition and fasting venous blood collection were performed under this approved protocol and in accordance with relevant institutional and national ethical requirements. The exploratory animal component used laboratory mice obtained through Jennio Biotechnology’s accredited laboratory animal facility and was approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee of The Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-Sen University and Jennio Biotechnology (Approval No. IACUC-2023-A072). No privately owned animals were used; therefore, owner consent was not applicable, and no additional field-collection permits or licenses were required.
