: The project is registered as part of the research projects, covered by the common university notification of the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet) on processing personal data, carried out by the university. Danish Data Protection Agency’s journal no: 2015-57-0002, Aarhus University’s journal no: 62908, serial number 188. According to the Act on Research Ethics Review of Health Research Projects (section 14,2) the ‘Your Life – Your Health’ program does not need ethical approval from a Research Ethics Board [CitationRef removed].The study complies with the Helsinki Declaration, with written informed consent to use data for research purposes obtained from participants prior to their health check. Participants were anonymized before linking information on attendance and national registers from Statistics Denmark. Data management and data analysis was performed on secure servers at Statistics Denmark.
