Ethics approval and consent to participate

: Considering the nature of the topic, ethical clearance was sought from the ethics committee of Pantang Psychiatric Hospital (PPH) and hospital management’s approval by the Accra Psychiatric Hospital (APH). The study was also explained to respondents for their consent. Information about the respondent was treated confidential in accordance with the Pantang Psychiatric Hospital (PPH) ethics committee’s guidelines for conducting research. Informed consent for participants of this study was written consent since all respondents were literates who could read and write.
