: De-identified data for this study were obtained after completing an internal data use agreement with the National Social Life, Health and Aging Project investigator team. However, the data used in this study are openly available to all researchers through the National Archive of Computerized Data on Aging (NACDA), located within Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) after completing a data user agreement (social capital and covariate variables) and a restricted data user agreement (daytime accelerometry data). The study was approved by NORC’s Institutional Review Board and secondary analysis of de-identified data was deemed exempt from further review from the University of Chicago Institutional Review Board (IRB# 17–0854).
