: The North Carolina State University Institutional Review Board (IRB) approved this study (#1459). Before participation, adult participants (> 21 yrs. old) provided written informed consent. Demographic data on participants were not gathered in this study, as we were interested in a cockroach intervention and environmental outcomes in cockroach-infested apartments, independent of the demography of residents.
