Ethics approval and consent to participate

: Administrative permission to use the raw data was provided by the DHS Program after the author registered the above research for approval by the DHS Program. Access was given on three conditions. First was that the data is used only by the author and only for the purpose of the registered research or study. Secondly, the DHS data should be treated as confidential, and no effort should be made to identify any household or individual respondent interviewed in the surveys. Thirdly, the author is required to submit a copy of any reports/publications resulting from using the DHS data. All demographic health surveys have ethical approval and consent to participate.
