The research was approved by the Human Subjects Committee at Maine Medical Center.The food and physical activity environment datasets analyzed during the current study are publicly available in the USDA Economic Research Service repository. The BRFSS data that support the findings of this study are available from the Centers for Disease Control, but restrictions apply to the availability of these data including respondent zip code, which were used under license for the current study, and so are not publicly available. The use of these data including respondent zip code for the purposes of this research was approved by the Human Subjects Committee at Maine Medical Center.
