Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The trial has been approved by the Institute Review Board of the Amref Health Africa - Ethical and Scientific Review Committee (AMREF- ESRC). All data collection tools, guides, participant information sheets, and consent forms will be translated into Swahili. This will allow for participants whose preference is Swahili to participate with ease. Interviewers will also be recruited based on their expertise in both English and Swahili. Mothers/caregivers and CHWs will be asked to sign a written consent form agreeing to participate in the trial.
