Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The NATSISS is conducted every 6 years by the Australian Bureau of Statistics. Aggregate data is publicly available and as such, ethical approval was not required. The NATSISS was collected by personal interview. Interviewers obtained the consent of participating adults and a parent or guardian before interviewing those aged 15 to 17 years.
