Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The Rajshahi University Ethical Council (RUEC), Bangladesh reviewed and approved the data collection and verbal consent procedure of this study (approval number RUEC/2015/Hijra001). In the current study, a statistical survey was conducted among DSD population in Bangladesh through face-to-face interview. Most DSD population of Bangladesh are illiterate, so written consent from them to participate in interview and questionnaires in most cases were not applicable, instead verbal consents were applied. Prior to interviews, our interviewers briefly clarified the goals and significances of this research to receive verbal and/or written consent. Privacy and confidentiality of each participants have maintained to encourage them for honesty and accurate data.
