Ethics approval and consent to participate

: The protocol is in line with the Declaration of Hensinki (2008). Ethical clearance was obtained by the Ethical Committee, Heidelberg University, Germany (S-399/2017). Due to the current conflict situation in Yemen, there is no formal institutional review board (IRB) to grant an ethics approval, therefor, a formal permission was granted by the authority of the MoPHP in Yemen to use the pre-existing DEWS data that was produced by MoPHP to do secondary data analysis. Individual informed consent was sent by email to all participants to be signed and sent back to the investigator, an additional verbal consent was taken at the beginning of each interview.
