Ethics approval and consent to participate
: We have used yearly aggregates of data (e.g. chlamydia positivity, number of screening tests) collected in Philadelphia and Chicago school-based screening programs. Philadelphia high school screening program obtained ethics approval from the School District of Philadelphia and the Philadelphia Department of Public Health Institutional Review Board. Chicago high school screening program obtained ethics approval from the Chicago Public Schools District and the Chicago Department of Public Health Institutional Review Board. Our use of aggregate level data received from each of the two programs, was determined to be exempt by the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health Institutional Review Board (#16–0587).
