Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Approval for the use of immunisation and ethnicity data from the sources described to audit the programme was gained from the Caldicott Guardian of NHS Lothian. The NHS Lothian Research Ethics Scientific Co-ordinator ascertained this project was a service evaluation when assessed against the Health Research Agency Criteria and no further ethical approval was required.Questionnaire that was used in this study was prefaced with a cover letter to obtain written consent and to explain the study and that the responses will be anonymised.
