Ethics approval and consent to participate
: All participants gave verbal informed consent for participation in the focus group. A waiver of written informed consent was granted on the basis that the study posed minimal risk to participants and that since a written informed consent form would be the only study document recording participants’ names, anonymity could best be assured by using verbal informed consent. Transport and compensation for time equivalent to 10 USD was provided. This study was approved by the institutional review boards of Harvard Medical School and the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia.
