Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Study procedures and survey questions were developed in collaboration with community partners at Entre Hermanos, the Center for Multicultural Health, and the King County Health Department. Feedback from these and other partners including Gay City, was used to improve recruitment materials and survey wording. The study protocol was approved and overseen by the University of Washington Human Subjects Division (HSD, STUDY00000239). All participants provided either on-line, electronic documentation of consent or written documentation of informed consent, following procedures approved by the ethical review board. All data were encrypted and securely stored on password-protected computers. Data were accessed only by the study investigators.
