: The study followed the principals of the WMA Declaration of Helsinki [] and was approved by the Swedish Ethical Review Authority (Reg.no. 2019–04043). All participants gave their written informed consent at the time of the data collection. They received written information about the purpose and content of the study, assurance of confidentiality and were told that participation was voluntary and that they could withdraw their consent at anytime without justification. The participants were also informed that the study was a collaboration between the university and the SIA and were assured that their right to sick leave benefits would not be affected by participating or not participating in the study.
