: We sought and obtained ethical approval with reference number SKHREC/053/016 from the Sokoto State Ministry of Health Research Ethics Committee before the commencement of the study. The Sokoto State Ministry of Health granted the approval to use the datasets. We maintained the confidentiality of the patients by removing the personal identifying information from the dataset. Also, access was limited to the dataset by storing it in a password-protected computer available only to the authorized study team members.
